Committee Team

Ettington Community Trust is a registered charity, managed by a small team of volunteers with the aim of running the facility for the benefit of all. The committee meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm in the Lounge - meetings open to everyone. We are:

Ettington Real Ale Festival 2009

The third annual Real Ale Festival is on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September, offering a selection of quality local food, drink and music on your doorstep. We aim for the event to appeal to all: with a relaxed evening session on Friday; a family orientated Saturday afternoon, with bouncy castle and Morris dancers; and culminating with two great live bands on Saturday night. So make a date in your diary and let’s make it the best year yet!

Ground Source Heating Project

We have applied for funding to install a geothermal heat pump at the Community Centre, to supplement the existing oil based heating. The proposed system will use ground source heat to provide hot water throughout the year, and should significantly reduce the amount of oil used for space heating in the winter months. If funding is approved, the project will be used to demonstrate the benefits of sustainable energy by reducing CO² emissions.
